I love to swim nude but aside from beaches with murky water that is no longer possible. I grew up in an era in which high school gym included the fabled no swimsuits allowed pool use and my local Jewish community center had hours on sundays in which pool usage was allowed in anything and nothing. I suspect feminine outfits and anything which would shred like cutoffs were not allowed. One could wear jock-straps, which would be the best choice as jock-straps protected against kicks to the groin and games of grab the weiner. Anyway, I have discovered that it is possible to go in local pools wearing only an oversized t shirt or to cut the legs off of one of those stupid long legged competition suits and wear only the legs and t shirt. The best way to use my local pool's hot tub is nude but a t shirt w/wo legggings is close. I also use the pool with only a shirt although not often. I once went in in only am oversized shirt when the pool had scuba classes. I only noticed after I was in but never heard from the pool management about it. Years ago I would wear something with very narrow sides but the lifeguards would come over and very nervously complain. Weismuller in the early 30's would wear loincloths with very narrow sides so why can't men do what was done 70 years ago? One Tarzan movie from the same era had Boy swimming underwater in a loincloth that flapped up so one could see his glutes. Why do we censor what we already know?

When I was a teenager, I already enjoyed being nude as often as possible but, unfortunately, there weren't many opportunities.
